Dianne, who lives in the Lower Mainland, had Roisin mail her the yarns for these two lacy shawls. If you look carefully, you will see the two are different colour yarns.
The yarn for this silk shawl looks as if it is varigated with some purple in it. The yarn used was Diamond Luxury Collection Pure Silk Yarn, the pattern is Cedar Lake Shawl (pattern here) and is listed as Easy!

This shawl is made with Noro Maiko Yarn, 35% wool, 35% silk and 30% kid mohair.
