Four Fabulous Felted Handbags

Deanne, Monika and Dyanne took Lynda’s felted handbag class recently, and created beautiful bags, complete with individual and creative finishing touches, despite all using the same Wisdom Poems 100% wool yarn.

Here are all three, left to right is Dyanne’s (lined, with a matching mini-pouch, and one of Stone Owl Earthworks stone’s with a hole in the middle and a Chinese knot for the closure), Monika’s (tightly felted, and using cute little figures as embellishments), and Deanne’s (More loosely felted, lined–with pockets–a felted flower and a button she made herself). Congratulations! These are terrific.

Here’s a close-up of Deanne’s button–and you can see a tiny bit of the lining.

And last, but not least, is Lynda’s finished handbag, made for the workshop, complete with mini-pouch and i-cord decoration on the front. Beautiful!
