Knitted Felted Slippers by Katrina, made in Lynda’s class. She used Diamond Luxury collection, Galway worsted 100% wool – Great colours, and Katrina’s toesies are warm and snuggly in this “Junuary” weather. She had some coin-washing machine issues so decided to complete the felting job by hand. It’s a more rustic look than machine felting and interesting to compare the two methods. Congrats Katrina!

Just ONE of Katrina’s next works-in-progress, a sweater, using a Noro pattern — and she’s making it with her own hand-spun yarn. We can look forward to being able to purchase a kit with enough local hand spun to make a sweater.
