Maureen’s Scarf & Elfrieda’s Poncho

Maureen is our present Scarf Queen.  She’s been experimenting with different yarns and patterns – exploring new territory.  This one is the Handmaiden Scarf, drop stitch pattern using a hand-dyed chunky 100% cotton.  The photo doesn’t do it justice: it’s textured with a springy feeling, great for us tactile types.


Elfrieda has been trying different things too.  This one a Chantal Poncho (GBOW’s own pattern) with a ribbon yarn.  Again, the photo doesn’t show it that well.

Besides being an interesting piece, the colours match her eyes, sparkle sparkle.
