One of our New Knitters (started beginners continental knit class in the spring with Roisin) , Nadine with her first BIG project. A baby blanket for her friends’ newborn, just-born baby. She used Viking Odin Superwash and a Baby Blanket pattern courtesy of Alane. It is the perfect size for a car seat or stroller–or just snuggling. What a great job Nadine did. She set up originally with markers but by the end she knew exactly where she was going. And, was able to correct any mistakes and, and, and…learned a lot.

This is a ‘share the glee’ photo! We see a knitting future in the crystal ball for Nadine. We believe there’s a dishcloth in the making and then……probably socks. She can do it!
