Roisin’s Design inspired by Shetland Island Haps.  Shetland Islanders are famous for their handknit Shetland Island Shawls.  These shawls were/are knit to sell and for ‘special occasion’ wear.  The women knit Haps for everyday wear to keep their upper body warm and their arms free.  They are practical, functional and artistic artwear pieces.
