You remember this…the beginnings of Roisin’s entrelac sock, knitted in airports and on airplanes, en route to Italy to meet up with her daughter and grandson.

And here it is finished. Roisin says, “ONE entrelac sock finished!!  Let’s hope it’s not doomed for the ‘lone sock orphanage’.    It fits nicely, started with entrelac toe and shaped heel with entrelac as well.  Will be recording what I do with the next sock.  In my sock vision the colours all stayed in their own entrelac squares….alas…they had their own agenda. Never having been a colour inside the lines person, I understand.

On to the next.”

And what else did she do and see in Italy? Well, here are the only photographs she has sent me, documenting her trip (other than the one in the previous post). See if you detect a theme…
The happy travellers…

Bet you didn’t know centurions carry cell phones these days, did you?

This enterprising fellow apparently was having a little trouble balancing this big mattress on his head…

So, this second fellow who just happened to be exactly the right height stepped in..er, under to help.

The theme? Men’s legs, I’d say…
